Aemetis Inc is a renewable fuel and biochemical company. It is engaged in the production of fuels and chemicals through acquisition, development, and commercialization of technologies that replace traditional petroleum-based products by conversion of first-generation ethanol and biodiesel plants into biorefineries. Business activity of the firm is operated through two geographical segments namely North America and India. The North American segment comprises of the Keyes plant and research facilities in College Park, Maryland. The India segment includes the biodiesel plant; administrative offices; and holding companies. The company derives revenue primarily from sales of ethanol and WDG in North America and biodiesel and refined glycerin in India.
