The investment objective of HAL is to seek long-term total returns consisting of regular dividend income and longterm capital growth. HAL invests primarily in equity securities of North American companies with above average dividend yields. To achieve its investment objective, the Sub-Advisor may also invest in preferred and fixed-income securities such as government bonds, corporate bonds or treasury bills. HAL may hold up to 10% of its portfolio in these debt securities.
