iShares S&P U.S. Small-Cap Index ETF (CAD-Hedged)

The investment objective of the Fund is to provide long-term capital growth by replicating, to the extent possible, the performance, net of expenses, of an index selected at the discretion of BlackRock Canada that measures the Canadian dollar hedged performance of small-capitalization U.S. equities, and, to the extent possible, hedge any resulting U.S. dollar currency exposure back to Canadian dollars. The Fund will primarily invest in securities of one or more exchange-traded funds managed by BlackRock Canada or an affiliate (iShares ETFs) and/or U.S. equity securities. The Index measures the performance of the small capitalization sector of the U.S. equity market, as determined by S&P Dow Jones Indices LLC. The Fund uses an indexing strategy to achieve its investment objective. The Funds current principal investment strategy is to invest in one or more iShares ETFs.
