PIMCO Global Short Maturity Fund (Canada)

PIMCO Global Short Maturity Fund Canada has a primary portfolio of nonCanadian dollar short term fixedincome securities that are investment graderated average duration is less than or equal to 1 year. An actively managed enhanced cash strategy that seeks to dynamically manage risk and liquidity the fund invests in a wide range of shortdated securities such as U.S. Treasury and agency securities investment grade credit and high quality structured credit. The fund ultrashort duration is more resistant to interest rate fluctuations than longrterm bonds resulting in generally lower price volatility. The fund guidelines prohibit investing in high yield securities and limits exposure to other fixedincome sectors that may increase volatility. The Fund invests primarily in non-Canadian dollar investment grade fixed income instruments of short and medium-term maturities.
