iShares Exponential Technologies Index ETF

The investment objective of the Fund is to provide long-term capital growth by replicating, to the extent possible, the performance, net of expenses, of an index selected at the discretion of BlackRock Canada that is composed of securities of issuers that create or use exponential technologies, as determined by the index provider. The Fund currently seeks to replicate the performance of the Morningstar Exponential Technologies Index Under normal market conditions, the Fund will primarily invest in securities of one or more exchange-traded funds managed by BlackRock or an affiliate iShares ETFs or international equity securities. Generally, exponential technologies displace older technologies, create new markets and have the potential to effect significant economic impacts. To achieve its investment objective the e Fund uses an indexing strategy.
