iShares 0-5 Year TIPS Bond Index ETF (CAD-Hedged)

The investment objective of the Fund is to provide income by replicating. The Fund to the extent possible, the performance of an index composed of inflation-indexed US Treasury bonds with remaining maturities of less than five years, net of expenses. The current index for the Fund is the Bloomberg US Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities TIPS 0-5 Years Index Series-L the Index. Under normal market conditions, the Fund will primarily invest in securities of one or more exchange-traded funds managed by BlackRock or an affiliate iShares ETFs and or US fixed income securities. The Index measures the performance of the inflation-protected public obligations of the U.S. Treasury, commonly known as TIPS that have a remaining maturity of less than five years.
