Manulife Smart U.S. Defensive Equity ETF seeks to achieve long-term capital appreciation. In order to achieve its investment objectives, Manulife Smart U.S. Defensive Equity ETF invests primarily in U.S. securities with a focus on securities with lower sensitivity to market changes. The Manager employs a proprietary defensive screen to select securities that are less market sensitive and optimizes Manulife Smart U.S. Defensive Equity ETF by allocating proportionally more assets to securities that have higher potential risk-adjusted returns.
